2020 & 2021 Recap

Thankfully, it’s been a very busy couple of years for me. I haven’t had a chance to update in a little while, so I thought it would be a good idea to recap what I’ve been up to. Last year, the big news was receiving my first Grammy Nomination, and orchestrating The Queen’s Gambit and WandaVision. But, there was still much to do!

First up was The Christmas Chronicle 2, composed by Christophe Beck. Orchestrated by Tim Davies, myself, Kevin Kliesch, and Jordan Siegel. This was another fun holiday themed orchestral romp. It’s always cool getting to watch these movies that you work on in the summer, over the holidays with your family.

Next, were two great scores by Mark Mothersbaugh. The Mitchells vs the Machines was the first film, and it was a reunion with some of the team behind The Lego Movie: Part 2. After that, was The Croods: A New Age.

Last, I got to continue orchestrating for composer Fil Eisler (of Revenge and Empire fame) on his score to the Melissa McCarthy film, Thunderforce. This ended up being a really unique orchestral score, blending heavy metal performances by Scott Ian from Anthrax, and Dave Lombardo from Slayer.
