Composer,
arranger, instrumentalist and educator, Jeremy Levy originally hails from
Hannibal, MO. Jeremy holds degrees from the Univ. of MO - Kansas City (B.M.
Trombone Perf.) and the University of Miami (M.M. Studio Jazz Writing).
Currently, Levy balances his career between writing and performing. Some recent
projects include work on: Battlestar Gallactica, Rest Stop 2, Pushing Daisies,
The Simpsons Video Game, Rush Hour 3, and a new ballet by Elvis Costello. As a
copyist, recent clients include: American Idol, Joss Stone, Elvis Costello,
Jamie Cullem, Queen Latifah, and Wayne Shorter. As a performer, Levy can be
heard on The Game's new album, "LAX." He also recently played on an upcoming

Locally, Levy performs with some of the best bands in Los Angeles including:
Chris Walden, Ron King, Tim Davies, The San Gabriel Seven, Geo Valle, Chuck
Flores, and many others. He also leads a smoking new big band lead with
saxophonist Alex Budman.
Nationally, Levy has toured with some of the following artists: The Brian Setzer
Orchestra, Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Chuck Negron, and Engelbert Humperdinck.
Over his career, Jeremy has been a featured soloist with the Henry Mancini
Institute Orchestra as well as the University of Miami Concert Jazz Band. Jeremy
has also performed with such greats as Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard,
Bobby Watson, Jon Faddis, David Sanchez, Arturo Sandoval, Ed Calle, Greg Gisbert,
David Liebman, Bob Mintzer, Jim McNeely, and Joe Lovano. He has also had the
pleasure to back up such diverse artists as Barry Gibb, Steve and Eydie, Debby
Boone, Hal Linden, Deana Martin, Tito Puente Jr., Byron Stripling, Patti Austin,
The Temptations, The Drifters, The Coasters, The Platters, David Lee Roth, Joe
Piscopo, Susan Anton, Les Brown Jr., and many others.
Levy is now located in Glendale, CA.
