Busy Summer

After a very busy Summer, thought I would share what I've been up to the past few months.

I had the pleasure to work with the orchestration team on the upcoming Tom Cruise film, "Jack Reacher" with composer Joe Kraemer.  The score recorded at Sony's historic sound stage with a huge orchestra over four days. Take a look at the humongous low brass section, featuring cimbassos and contrabass trombone. This looks to be a great action film, so check it out when it hits theaters.

I also had the pleasure to contribute a few arrangements to Matthew Morrison's (of Glee fame) new album. Legendary record producer Phil Ramone was in charge of this record. Very honored to get to work with him. Big thanks to Chris Walden for bringing me in to help. Looking forward to seeing this released soon.

My first record, "From There to Here" with my band, the Budman/Levy Orchestra has been getting rave reviews.  OA2 Records has congregated the best of them on their web site here. We've also got a show at Typhoon coming up in August.
